Prologue

Valaina has been hidden from the world for several centuries. As an orphan and a runaway, she has remained unknown to her people, until an elf-boy from the Woodland realm, Legolas, comes across her path. Discovering comfort and trust in Legolas, she allows him to enter her life, but their happiness is destroyed by the king.
