All of Alfred Noyes's poems need to be pushed farther out into the world. They need to be recognized. Every word is designed to hit hard, to incite deep emotion. I cannot stress how much these poems mean to me, only that the raw truth and pain I find here gives me a huge lust for life. I see each painted vision till I no longer have any space left in my chest to breathe - I get too caught up in a world that no longer lives. These sometimes violent, heart wrenching poems are stunning, and I am left to sit and sob into my hands, crying for a time that has been lost.
