Description
At the age of 10 Thembalethu Promise Zulu looses her family to a fire that caused the death of the 5 most important people in her life . Being left with the people who degrade her any chance they get whom also continuously blame her for the death of her loved ones. Thembalethu is not your average girl she is what people describe as fat , thick , chubby or even terms such as baby elephant she suffers the abuse of her left family members. When she turned 13 she was determined to leave the villages of Ndwedwe which is found in KwaZulu Natal, South Africa she sets her mind on leaving and never coming back after working in the fields just to save enough money to leave and study abroad in America . What happens when she leaves her home and starts university gets bullied for her weight and accent struggles with the changes and ends up meeting Deonte Miller in the process ?
