Book one of a brand new series, shedding light into the world of Xyphus; a setting in my WIP tabletop role-playing game. This series focuses on a city-state called, Tacit; a city divided. A place where, you might be a master swordsman in full plate, but the other guy has a laser rifle pointed at your head.

In book one, we meet Braxus, who wakes up naked in the barren District 4, and is suffering from amnesia. Unbeknownst to him, he is to become a great hero. A hero that unites Tacit and brings the region into a golden age. However, there is a long road/tunnel ahead of him.
