Chapter 1

Larson, where Ava had grown up with her twin brother Caden, was in a constant state of disorder. The overpopulation had become out of control and the government, in a bid to minimise growth, divided Larson into 7 Provinces. There were garbage bags littered along the paved streets, pollution filled the air from the boost in infrastructure and the construction that was almost always underway, and the increasing number of homelessness meant seeing beggers was not uncommon for Ava.

But this was the 5th Province, and this was home.
