beast will not be ferocious

accompanied by darkness
smell the gloom surrounding
there is the itch again
ignoring it, feeds it
why does pain attract pleasure?
stalking muscles and sinews
howls of greys fill vacuum

eternity is two shades away
filtered emotions obstruct views
closed eyes taste oblivion
claws tear through screams
remember the simple smiles
