"But on a serious note, do you need some sort of saving, Jane?"

She continues to laugh. "I was just messing around."

"Okay." I respond, my emotions settling down.

"Yeah, but in hindsight, doesn't everyone?" She asks and I'm totally surprised.

I shift my gaze to hers that she returns. And I know I don't have to say a word to tell her how much I agree. Everyone, even in small ways or another, needs saving.
