No one thought that the next world pandemic could be any worse than the Black Death. And certainly no one toyed with the idea that it would bring superpowers into the world. ~ Fletcher Kell returned from her nine-month getaway in Montana to find the world in shambles. She'd had no communication, but surely she should've heard of the next world crisis, known as the Mutatio Disease. Now back into the throng of the world, the pandemic makes its presence known. Only a third of the people who catch the virus live, and some don't stay human. The governments quickly fell, raiders took up arms, and the newly created monsters rampaged without any resistance. The last thing Fletcher had been expecting on her return home was to find the world in pieces.
