Coming home has always been painful for Rachel Black since the loss of her mother. After graduating early from Washington State, she's left to face her demons and return home to LaPush. It wasn't supposed to be a permanent move - just a visit.

What she didn't anticipate was stumbling upon her destiny at First Beach - one that she doesn't accept immediately. How will Paul get her to give in?
