Melancholia is a strange place, a city where doctors hold patients captive and seclude them from the rest of the world, but why? While being determined to escape the city surrounded by a thick wall, Charlotte, an almost emotionless patient, finds out why she and the others are being held captive. To make it to freedom, she is going to have to risk it all, but what does she have to lose?
