After the events of the first book, a year and a half has passed.
Lucia, now going by the name Lucy, is a young adult living a mundane, even slightly affluent life in New York. She has a job at a prestigious hotel, a comfortable apartment with a charming neighbor, and new goals.
All these elements mark the beginning of a wonderful era for her, an era that is supposed to be far removed from all the traumas and demons that had ever chased her before.
However, a wave of dubious events will shatter this serenity, and encountering familiar faces amid this growing fear will transform her doubts into certainties.
