Chapter 1: The Day Started Well

Around the 2940s, the 5th World War raged and 80% of the earth's population was killed. The remaining 10% were immediately transferred to the various planetary colonies. But, as you can imagine, only the richest people were able to leave the Earth. The others had to stay behind. And now, 150 years later, the Earth is only home to a disparate population gathered in various places that we call neighbourhoods, divided themselves into camps and scattered all over the globe. And I live in one of those neighborhoods on this Earth that have now become alien to us. And yet I live here.
