"Shit." Zuko thought. His mind raced as he watched Katara stumble, losing her footing against the slippery slope. She extended her hand, about to summon a waterbending skill, but her head hit the hard rock before she could even raise a hand, and she slid limply down the rest of the slope, towered the portal of inpending doom at the end of her drop.
As if in an impluse, Zuko leaped forward, outstretching a hand to grab her, but for his good deed, he lost his footing and slipped, tumbling down with Katara and into the portal to his doom.
