Many things have changed since they have last seen each other: Star Butterfly is no longer an irresponsible and naive princess, but a young woman learning to be Queen of Mewni, even if she has to make difficult sacrifices and Marco Diaz is no longer a teenage boy but a college student bent on becoming a doctor. They have both long spent days dreaming of seeing each other again. But it never occurred to any of them that they actually would, however, no matter how much they wanted to, what had happened since they last saw each other had made them into strangers.
