y/n is mirio's older sibling. growing up with tamaki and their brother, they were all very close. tamaki was their best friend, and despite not having a heroic quirk, they made him promise that when he became a hero, they would be his sidekick/mad scientist on the sidelines. however, during their third (3rd) year in junior high, they left to attend a prestigious school overseas after earning an early scholarship. they lost touch shortly after.
