"I'm sorry, Jack. you must forgive me."

his mother whispered, letting her dark locks fall from her thin shoulders. she let her sleep deprived eyes close as she planted a kiss on her three year old sons head. the storm outside called to her like an orchestra calls its players. the windows whipped open the storm causing chaos around her. she stood on the window seal, turning around to see her sons wide dark blue eyes...she spread her arms out, and leaned back with a gentle smile.

the queen was dead,

and she left her cursed son to the ways of the world. Jack was cursed since he was born. his heart incased in ice, and the only way to thaw it-from his mothers fabels.
