Its mermaid hunting season, the time were men in fishing boats head out on the high seas to catch these mystical beings. Some of the Merman's fins are used for soups and other decadent foods only the richest of rich people could afford. Whilst the Mermaids are sold to the highest bidder, only to be left as decoration in tanks. Some have the novelty of being with others to socialize with.. While others are left sad and alone without seeing the ocean or their families again... Nathalie wasn't a lucky one..
