Main character info/introduction

Katherine is a 16 year old girl in the western era, who's mother and father died. After a number of tragic incidents she is Left to tend to 5 kids. she puts her big girl breeches on and takes on a job as a cattle driver. Bullied by the men who work with her, a joke is taken a little to far which results in her and the trail boss meeting incidentally.
