I questioned, my right arm resting across the length his broad shoulders. He turned to look at me, his beautiful smile faltering. 'Because we're from two completely different worlds, Miles. I'm selfish for keeping you with me because it's inevitable that you're gonna get hurt, and when that eventually happens, which it will, I'll hate myself because it'll all be my fault.
