Chapter 1

Sora Leppard, Princess of the Halos and general of the army of the White Kingdom, has never felt as though she fits in with her court. She's too rebellious, and she has broken the rule of not having romantic relationships with the Captain of the Guard, Adrates Haywood. She's toeing a dangerous line until she goes over the edge, finding herself in the kingdom of her sworn enemy, the Nightmares. Yet although she has been brought up to believe that the Dark Kingdom is evil and that darkness lurks in every corner, she slowly realizes that she might be fighting for the wrong side.
