Where it all begins

On a parallel version of earth where history headed down a different path. There are magic artifacts left by the now extinct Elves. These artifacts let humans wield a form of magic known as avisrium. Each artifact has a special power, and one organization plans to harness this power for there own evil deeds. One man has been tasked to stop them, however, will he even succeed?
