Chapter 1: Ash

Ash has not had an easy life. His evil father killed his mother and he participates in underground MMA fights to pay college tuition. He doesn't think his life has much purpose until he saves a sweet, innocent girl who smells like flowers from an attack. Emily has secrets of her own that are preventing her from being happy Her only goals are to go to college and work at her family's flower shop. As Ash and Emily open up to each other, they are happy for the first time in years. But when their pasts come back to haunt them, will they be strong enough to rise above it or will sorrow consume them once again?
