School sucks. That's literally all Nezha can say. Especially when he's a literal demon going to a school of mostly humans. Not that he cares, he especially doesn't care when they call him names. Or tease him.

He's prettier and more badass and that's all that matters. And to appease his dear mother's worries about him being friendless, he joins the chess club.

Why chess? Well, it may or may not be for the pretty club leader. But chess is fun and now he has an (unwilling) friend to share his adventures with. Huzzah!
