Expectations. Everyone has them. Webster defines "expect" as "to consider probable or certain." And she was exactly what he expected. Until she wasn't.... Trey Prescott's first mistake was assuming tiny Elle Fitzgerald was a teenager moving in along with her parents two doors down. He did not expect her to be the twenty-six year old new owner of her grandparents' vacation cottage. His next mistake was assuming she was taking over for Lakeland Elementary's retired kindergarten teacher. He did not expect her to be an M.I.T. grad and the University's newest computer science professor with a checkered past in the hacking world. Trey expected her to be quiet and shy as indicated by her extreme awkwardness around him. He soon learned how it felt to be on the wrong end of those flashing green eyes and sassy mouth. Trey learned in college that having expectations only lead to disappointment. So when it came to Elle, he decided to throw out of all his expectations. And she did not disappoint.
