Modern AU.

Dusty and Thyra are two grade 11 teenagers, living in Australia. Dusty moves there from the US, while Thyra has lived there all her life.

One Friday night, they go out with three other friends to go swimming in a nearby river, and managed to get themselves kidnapped by Viggo and Ryker, who are genetic scientists. They strap them down and insert something into them, something that would change them forever.

It's a story of revenge, blood, and eventually, love. But most importantly, the return of something ancient.
