Description
In a world where people are sorted into the two categories of either Predator or Prey based on the primal traits that they get tested for at birth, Nicklaus, a predator who has never found time in his busy life to settle down and finally start his family, finds himself lonely and in need of someone to share the comfortable life that he's built for himself... Finding himself undrawn to females of either type he turns towards an option not normally explored, the thought of dipping his toes into the shallow pool of the highest regarded rarity of their world... The protected and ever-elusive male prey capable of giving birth... Most of them voluntarily held captive for their own safety in group homes with more security than even the royal family, the only other options for their families to try to fend off whatever predator gets tempted by their unique pheromones and finds themselves unwilling to leave them well enough alone... It is in one of these group homes that he finds a timid Ezra, all caramel waves with eyes made of the deepest hazel, and a face full of freckles that he finds himself enraptured in... The only thing standing between them being whether or not Ezra will ever find himself taken with the Predator over twice his age.
