With the disappearance of their father fresh on their minds, the Winchester brothers set out to find him. Along the way they meet a nephilim who seems keen on helping, but harbors secrets of her own. During their travels, the trio uses John Winchester's journal to help carry on the family business- saving people and hunting supernatural creatures.
