Doors slam shut, microbes are dropped. Samples are taken, prayers are made.
For a new dark king rises, he gets stronger every second. A few minutes ago he was a wee little baby, now he is a demonic behemoth. Every minute the already minuscule sliver of time gets smaller. Hope slips away. No amount of determination is enough. Will a new hope be renewed?
