Bound by the fact that they were neighbours and co-workers at their local bar, that had them stay out of their apartments after late hours, they unfortunately had to see each other's faces everyday. Trying to make the ends meet, both were however comfortable with their impervious banter and had fallen into a routine. Now throw in, a suspicious group of men visiting the bar carrying a gun, someone breaking into Lily's apartment, killing her pet cat in cold blood, and a little four year old girl stumbling across them at three in the morning. All on the same day, in a matter of hours. These things obviously break your routine, even more so when you know you've got to take the little girl to her parents but without the police's help, because police aren't trustworthy anymore. Forming an unlikely ally with Chase, Lily sets out to uncover the mystery that is the little girl, all the while trying to find answers to questions of her own.
