"You don't know what I have experience in Mr. Ettore." She said in a cool voice. "I can say the same for you Ms. Addision, you have no knowledge of what I am capable of." I said with a coolness that matched hers. We were now headed towards her car at the far end of the parking lot. "Well, my assumptions of your being an asshole seemed to be spot on!" she spat. "Trust me darlin, your no walk in the damn park either." A smile played at the corner of my lips in the darkness as we reached her car. Hitting the unlock button she turned to me as she leaned against her car. "Coming from you Ettore, I take that as a compliment." I moved so that I was facing her as I placed my hand on the roof of her car before leaning in near her ear. "If you liked that lil compliment believe me when I say that I'm just getting started sweetheart" I said in a low voice. I smiled in the darkness of the parking lot listening to the melody of her heart racing at our closeness. I looked forward to such encounters with her, I found her anger quite amusing, her beauty unmatched, and before I knew it I found myself falling for her. It was the ultimate betrayal to the woman that I had loved and lost centuries ago. I had promised myself that I would never love another woman as I had loved Tiet but when Annalise walked into my life all of that began to change. Falling in love with a human woman was the last thing I would have thought myself to do but as the old saying goes "the heart wants what the heart wants" but is there more to her than meets the eye?
