Moving schools is one of Jessica Chord's special skills. Making friends, however, is something she struggles to do.

When Jess's mum finds a new job and Jess is pulled from her comfortable school-life and plunged straight into the Dulton High ecosystem, she starts to realise that every school is the same.

Along with making new friends, Jess finds herself battling with her past and making enemies in all the wrong places. The school's bully Derek takes an interest in her troubled past, and she takes an interest in the dark depths of Oliver Parke.
