Chapter 1 - A Friend Like No Other

Monika has always been a popular girl, all the boys whistling at her in the halls and telling her how hot she is. Yuri is not as lucky although, walking the halls with her head hung low afraid of having to talk to someone. Yuri was very happy when she saw a opening for a Literature Club. She joined almost immediately meeting new people who soon became her friends. As time went by Yuri felt as if the club was the only place she could be calm and happy. Although recently she has noticed Monika shooting glances at her. Not death stares, but more like longing looks. Does Monika want something more than what Yuri thinks?
