I leaned my head back and closed my eyes, bathing in the sweet summer rays. My skin tingled as I felt the steaming breath the sun blasted on the balmy beach. My warm, pink, sunglasses protected my eyes as the bright, fiery sun came into view from behind the clouds. I heard the song "Superstition" by Stevie Wonder come from a van behind me. I tried to ignore the loud rev of the engine and attempted to go back to a peaceful state of mind. The sound of keys jingling and soft whistling approached my ears from a distance. I heard the sounds come closer and closer until they were right behind me. I opened my eyes and looked up as I saw his head block the sun. The warm yellow rays formed a halo around his face and his brown, messy, curly hair. "Hi sunshine." he said, flashing a gleaming smile.
