Episode 1: Strange Things Happen at Weddings and Funerals

On October 1st, 1989, 43 women all over the world gave birth despite not having been pregnant at the beginning of the day. Reginald Hargreaves adopted as many of those babies as he could -- that turned out to be only 7. Fifteen more were abandoned merely days or weeks after their birth -- they found their way into the care of an old woman who only lived long enough to teach them how to care for themselves and each other. Years later, one of those children, a girl who calls herself Thirteen, meets the Hargreaves, and decides to have a little fun with them.
