Thomasville, a small town run by the founder and benevolent mayor, Thomas Sanders. Janus Fausti, his campaign manager, has a son named Virgil. Logan Irving, his political rival, operates and teaches at the town's one room schoolhouse. Irving's kind of having a fling with Fausti and Fausti's kind of having a fling with Patton O'Rahilly. He's a popular local and upcoming political rival with with twin sons named Roman and Remus.
