By the Spring of 2002, Gerard Way was about to make the decision that would change his life forever. His garage band, My Chemical Romance, was a big hit in the underground circuits of New Jersey.

His best friend, Mina, is about to grad from high school, and their relationship will soon change completely. Gerard is a mess Mina wants to fix, and she is the girl he should have never gotten involved with.
