*Spinoff to Falling In Love with my Best Friend Rodger Jeffery Wilson is home alone now ever since his young nephew, Kyrie Wilson, left for college in New York. He goes back to his normal, not so eventful humdrum life as a single man working as an attorney for a Pennsylvania law firm close to home. Now since his nephew isn't around to see him cope with the death of his beloved twin brother Andrew Wilson, and best friend and former love Camelia White, he goes back to his bad habits of staying out late, useless one-night stands, and heavy drinking. One late evening after attending a monthly drinking party his colleagues always put together, he stumbles upon a young man named Nathaniel cursing at his broken-down car in the pouring down rain. He offers his help by allowing him to stay at his home for the night until they can call a car place when it opens the next morning. After helping him, Rodger figures that he'll never see the young man again. That is until he accidentally intrudes on Nathaniel's boyfriend throwing him out of his home. Rodger learns that Nathaniel is out of a job and now out of a home. Being the good person that he is, he offers Nathaniel to stay with him until he is able to get back on his feet again. While the two are roommates, Rodgers's humdrum and melancholy life is now able to be filled with color and warmth now that Nathaniel is with him, and he may even begin to develop feelings for the man. But with living with Nathaniel comes with heartbreaking secrets and situations that may be too much to deal with. In the end, will Rodger's life turn out for the better while he's in love with Nathaniel, or for the worse?
