The mind is truly the scariest thing of all. I wouldn't wish it on anyone. But when the mind finally decides something it can be the most calming and satisfying thing in the world. Except when it decides to fall in love with someone despite all the reasons you should definitely NOT fall in love with them. Like the fact that he's your coworker or that he's obviously as screwed up in the head as you are. I tried not to fall for my fellow teacher. I tried to keep my head down and avoid him. I TRIED. But he was so sweet and his personality was so goofy. He was even dorkier than I was which is really saying something. So yes, my mind decided that not only will I be plagued with nightmares so much that I'll actually avoid going to sleep, but now I will have constant thoughts of my mess of anxiety peer dancing around my restless mind while I'm awake.
