Prologue

Great changes come to the Carthwrite family when Ruth decides to head out West to start a new life for herself. Her five younger brothers are now left without the guidance of their sister and must struggle through life without it. And struggles there are plenty. And many of these struggles they keep secret from each other.

Nothing can remain secret forever, but will the family be able to hold together when the things they hide begin coming to light? Especially when many of their secrets are for some reason connected to the wealthiest land barons in the county?
