Elijah Lewis had a harder life than anyone she knew. She was 16, and had a family who didn't want her. Yes, she was named with a boy's name, because her parents never wanted a girl. But they got one anyways. She's lived a life of constant shame and humiliation. Not to mention she's a Pogue. She's grown up with no friends, until she meets JJ.
