Jaiden was raised in the Ice Ninja Academy. The Academy was suddenly destroyed by an unknown force, along with everyone in it except for Jaiden, who, with her newfound Ranger abilities, managed to escape to fight another day. During her travels, she met Dr. Tommy Oliver, who took her in and continued her training as the sole survivor.
Now, as he focused on his new line of research in Reefside, Jaiden decided to temporarily part ways and head for Blue Bay Harbor, where the Wind Ninja Academy was. Though the last thing she expected was to encounter the infamous Thunder Brothers, who just so happened to be her childhood friends.
