"πΈπ£πππ¦πππ π€ππππ ππ πππππ π‘ππ ππ‘'π π‘πππ π‘π ππ πππππ" -Someone who knew what the fuck they were talking about κ§κ§ κ§κ§ κ§κ§ κ§κ§ κ§κ§ Growing up a black girl in today's society is beyond hard. It don't matter if you're light skinned, brown skinned, dark skinned, etc. Because at the end of the day, you're still π΅ππππ! You're still "ghetto", you're still "ratchet", you're still "difficult", you're still "loud", you're still a "hoe", and you're still "π΄ π΅ππππ πππππ". And if that's what being black is, if that's what standing up for your rights every day, having your brothers and fathers fearing for their lives even when they go out for a run, having the shortest month in the year to celebrate blackness and all it's beauty, if it's being treated differently or being looked down upon, because of a simple thing you cannot control, like your skin color, if it's barely speaking upon the hardships and the torture that used to and still goes on for our people, If it's teaching our sons what to do if a cop pulls you over, and if it's teaching our daughters that although society may not find them beautiful, they are the most marvelous thing in the whole world. Then yes I AM proud to be black. κ§κ§ κ§κ§ κ§κ§ κ§κ§ κ§κ§ Yeah I suck at descriptions, but this is a new book that I am going to try to keep lol. And share and vote I will try to update as much as I can. β€οΈ
