Description
Mabel Cano is a fifteen year old girl from Tallahassee, Florida. She is an only child, who comes from immigrant parents that do all they can to provide for her. Mabel's home life is great, but outside of that, her life is hell. Even though things seem rough, Mabel doesn't seem to think much of it, until she goes through a devastating series of unfortunate events, worse than she's ever put up with. Now, spiraling deep into depression, Mabel's heart and mind go head to head. In attempts to find happiness before it's too late, Mabel breaks out of her shell, and selflessly puts her feelings aside for the sake of those who care about her. She's her parent's only child, and she knows they love her more than anything. Wouldn't it be a shame if they lost her?
