Charlotte had known the Mikaelsons for over 1,000 years, growing up in the same village as them and practically being raised together after her mother passes away. Charlotte and Elijah have had a very long relationship but one day when she wake up and with a warning never to go back to Elijah everything changes. What happens when she's called back to New Orleans by Rebekah because the family needs help? Will Elijah come to his senses and choose the woman he's loved his whole life?
