Lee Taeyong aka "Paradox" is a genius hacker. Holding a deep hatred for the police, he was taught by his late father how to hack - as his father was an agent for the Public Safety division of the Citizen Protection Service, and was killed by his own comrades. Taeyong holds secrets even from his best friend, Ten.

Following a situation in which he disarms a bomb on his school rooftop, he is approached by members of Neo Culture. Consequently, he met some people from his past, including Jung Jaehyun, an old friend from his previous school. With reignited emotions towards the latter, Taeyong joins the Neo Culture mafia.
