The year is 1079. After decades of war ripped the once beautiful land of Era apart, peace was finally restored in the 7 Kingdoms. A treaty was signed by their rulers, binding the Kingdoms as one, under the rule of the greatest empire of all; Meralda. With the reign of their leader, King William the Great, Era would once again rise to magnificent glory. Strong and united, until the day of his death, the land flourished; but all over the Kingdoms the wise men began to worry. The Queen had yet to bear a son and suitable heir to the throne, and in this land it was not the prince or princesse's birth right to be appointed the next ruler; instead, only he who won the trial of combat and wit against all challenging heirs of the Kingdom had a right to the throne of Era. Far away, shielded from the worries of the world, Alexandra lived with her father and four older brothers in the small village of Reven. As the youngest daughter of one of the most skillful weapon smiths in North Casand, one of the smaller, less known kingdoms of the realm, she grew up forging and studying the art of fighting from a young age. By the time she was 7, she was able to build basic tools and arrow heads. When she was 9 she created her first dagger. And at the age of 13 she was a valuable part of her father's blacksmith, working along side her brothers and known throughout Reven for her exceptional fighting skill. Desperate to leave her boring life behind, Alexandra accepts a strange travellers offer to join him on his travels, leading her into a new life of bloodshed, pain and desire, and one step closer to fulfilling the centuries old Prophecy of Era.
