After the death of her father, Laura and her family move to Forks, Washington so her widowed mother can be closer to her family the Uleys, members of the Quileute tribe. Laura reunites with her old La Push friends that she hasn't seen in four years, and starts up at Forks High school in February.

But what will happen when she meets the mysterious blonde Jasper Hale and his family?
