In the aftermath of the Battle of New York, fourteen-year-old Kaitlyn Summers has been living in London. After agreeing to take some time off about a year ago, things have finally started to settle down for our young hero. Until one day, Kaitlyn comes into contact with a strange entity known as the Aether. She is reunited with Thor and he takes her back to Asgard. To her dismay, Kaitlyn and Thor form an unlikely alliance with Loki to protect her from an evil shadowy figure known as Malekith who plans to capture her and use the Aether to plunge the world back into darkness.

Will Kaitlyn be able to get along with Loki long enough to save herself and the world from total darkness?
