"A witch being trapped in a time warp through alternate universes trying to find her way back to reality"

Fifty years ago, wizards and witches were a thriving community, but as little as ten years ago the numbers were almost zero. There was close to two billion and now it's down to a mere 1,000 left. We're in a losing battle between each other.
