Prologue

With a brutal, faceless killer walking freely on the streets of Freetown, everyone's instinct is to run and hide. Seventeen-year-old Cassidy Meyer's instincts however, immediately urge her to run toward the direction of danger in an attempt to unmask the killer's identity, thereby satisfying her life-long obsession for crime-solving. Her obsession with the case starts to create a wedge between her and her loved ones, and it starts to put everyone's life in danger. The only way to salvage her friendship and save everyone's life is to finish what she started; to find the killer before he can claim another life.
